As a Software Engineer on the Go-based Connector team, you will build and maintain the Connector ecosystem with an emphasis on open source development, collaborating with Cloud and Core engineering teams to build robust and scalable systems. You will contribute to a Kubernetes helm chart to manage Redpanda Connect in a zero-downtime fashion and design new AI solutions to evolve how end-users work with streaming data.

Take a leading role in our backend development efforts using Node.js for our ambitious replatforming initiative, which aims to modernize our architecture and integrate cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. Design, build, and maintain robust APIs that ensure scalability, performance, and security. Some familiarity with React for front-end tasks will be beneficial.

The Engineer applies advanced knowledge and experience to ensure client satisfaction by participating in complex projects, modeling best practices as an expert in the field.  This includes project scoping, planning, development, installation, configuration, deployment, and support.

Join the engineering team to develop the Tailscale product, contributing to the coordination server and open source client code. Take ownership of the entire product lifecycle, from writing code to product ideation and strategic decision-making. Work with UX/UI designers and product managers to shape features that enhance networking capabilities.

As a Technical Document Creator you will produce high-quality technical and end-user documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products. You will work collaboratively with the Technical Services team, the development team, system architect, product managers, and usability experts to make our products easier to use. Responsibilities include developing specifications, API documentation, and maintaining online documentation.
