You will write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Develop high-quality backend systems using NodeJS, adhering to best coding practices. Ensure production stability and promptly resolve critical issues to minimize operational impact. Analyze existing code and identify opportunities for enhancement and optimization. Support cross-functional teams by addressing change requests efficiently. Mentor and guide junior developers on best practices in software development. Review peer pull requests to maintain code quality and consistency.

Design and implement new features and improvements, while diagnosing and fixing defects in MySQL products. You will perform periodic source code merges from other open source repositories. Develop test cases for continuous integration deployment, along with participating in code and design reviews.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Reference and Entity Data Services mission, building systems that ingest metadata from multiple sources, normalizing, deduplicating, and publishing it to every service at AlphaSense that surfaces company information. This is a Senior Magento 2 Developer position with a primary focus on back-end development (approximately 80%). The candidate will take full ownership of maintaining and improving the Magento platform, including bug fixes, security and performance updates, and building custom features. Candidates must have strong Magento 2 and PHP experience and be capable of working independently after onboarding.
