The Pismo Lending Group is responsible for building a world class API-based Lending Product that manages the entire lifecycle of loans from its simulation until its completion. With a special focus on product creation and lifecycle management, our Lending Product aims to offer a competitive advantage in being innovative and agile to a variety of financial institution customers.

As a Staff Software Engineer in the Lending team, you will be responsible for developing a global Lending platform. You will participate in technical analysis with product team requirements, perform database optimization, and understand and build micro-service and event-driven architecture, focusing on creating a user-friendly, robust, highly scalable, and resilient platform.

The anti-fraud team works with two main systems, one of which is responsible for monitoring transactions and communicating with third parties to verify transaction validity. This role involves development and maintenance in Golang/Java on AWS, contributing to engineer betterment through mentoring and feedback, leading the squad to good technical outcomes, and participating in technical analysis with the product team. It also includes executing Terraform and monitoring applications.

Pismo is seeking a Client Success Consultant to support new and existing customers (B2B), helping to drive retention, increase users’ engagement, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. The Client Success Consultant acts as a trusted advisor to our customer and helps communicate the value of the Pismo products. You will work closely with internal teams and will be responsible for actively managing clients’ requests.

Pay By Wallet is a core product pillar of Pismo's non-card response, a unified (API) suite empowering wallets to offer seamless, tokenized transactions globally on visa merchants. Development and maintenance of projects in Golang language with deployment on AWS is required. Engineers should contribute to the betterment of other engineers, and consistently lead the squad to good outcomes from a technical perspective.

As a Technical Writer, you will collaborate with experts across the company to produce developer guides, API reference documentation, and other educational materials that help developers get the most out of the Pismo platform. You’ll develop new external content from internal source documentation, and update existing resources by editing, reorganizing, and verifying the accuracy of code samples and instructions.

Support the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and automation, always with guidance from more experienced engineers. Contribute to technical decisions by considering factors such as stability, reliability, monitoring, observability, and business needs, while focusing on continuous learning and development. Help maintain platform resilience, adopting new technologies under supervision, and participating in relevant technical initiatives.

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify innovation opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate and validate new product concepts. Support the design and execution of experiments, MVPs and pilots. Develop business cases to support new product initiatives. Prepare presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

This role is pivotal in driving prioritisation, technical integration, operating model design, commercial alignment for initiatives that unlock incremental revenue and value for Pismo. You will orchestrate input from a wide range of regional and functional stakeholders, coordinating subject-matter experts to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions—while ensuring that Pismo’s resources are focused on the greatest business opportunities.

We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performance team, focused on people development, technical quality, and operational excellence. This person will play a crucial role in scaling both people and systems in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Delegate responsibilities effectively to ensure ownership and accountability. Make assertive decisions under pressure and within tight constraints.

Proficient in Golang, expert in code reviews, and skilled in debugging. Strong knowledge of relational databases and ability to define strategies for non-relational databases. Designs scalable microservices, evaluates architectural trade-offs, and ensures robustness under high request volumes. Designs monitoring strategies, sets up alerts, and ensures system observability to prevent issues. This is a remote position.

The team is responsible for global instant payment services, including the implementation of PIX, FPS (UK), and UPI (India), operating in an innovative and challenging environment. As a Software Engineer, you will develop and maintain applications using Golang, deploy and operate services in AWS, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
