About the Role:

  • You will be GovWorx's first dedicated HR leader, building the people function largely from scratch.
  • You will own the full scope of HR with an emphasis on establishing foundational programs, policies, and compliance guardrails.
  • You will work closely with Finance, executives, and operational leadership to create the people infrastructure that enables responsible growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and systems to support a distributed workforce across 29 states and international contractors.
  • Drive talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development strategies.
  • Ensure legal compliance and best practices across all HR functions.

Who You Are:

  • You have experience as a first or sole HR hire at an early-stage company.
  • You are strategic and hands-on, able to build from scratch while scaling quickly.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment focused on public safety innovation.
