New Candidate Experience Specialist

An overview of this role:

• Shape how candidates experience GitLab from first touch through offer and handoff to People Operations.
• Partner with Recruiters and hiring managers to execute hiring plans and coordinate interviews.
• Act as a brand ambassador who embodies values in every interaction.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with Recruiters and hiring teams to understand and execute hiring plans.
• Manage candidate scheduling and coordinate interviews to keep processes running smoothly.
• Ensure candidates receive timely, thoughtful communication at each stage.

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience supporting end-to-end hiring processes in a high-volume environment.
• Skill using an applicant tracking system; Greenhouse experience beneficial.
• Strong organization, time management, and communication skills.

About the team:

• The Candidate Experience team partners with Recruiters and People Operations for a smooth hiring process.
• They coordinate interview logistics and manage candidate flow in the ATS.
• The team works asynchronously across time zones, focusing on process refinement and data accuracy.
