Scope:
- The SPARC Program Regional Strategist helps Sierra Club chapters raise funds through coaching and project management for mid and major gift programs.
- This role manages a portfolio of chapters, providing strategic advice and ensuring fundraising goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach chapter leaders on fundraising strategy, program implementation, and grant identification.
- Facilitate collaboration between chapter staff and national fundraising teams, especially major gift officers.
- Manage a donor portfolio when gaps exist, and support volunteer engagement in fundraising.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in fundraising, preferably in a small non-profit, with a deep understanding of cultivating $1,000-$25,000+ gifts.
- Strong coaching, communication, and project management skills, with a commitment to equity and continuous learning.
- Ability to travel occasionally for on-site visits and meetings.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range $80,000-$90,000 annually, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan.
- This is a represented position subject to collective bargaining agreement.
