The HB Coding Analyst is the coding and reimbursement expert in ICD-10-CM diagnosis coding and has expertise with HCPC Level I and II procedural codes. Also demonstrates expertise to resolve NCD/LCD and NCCI edits of hard-coded (Chargemaster) and soft-coded (coder assigned) HCPC codes.
As a Senior Clinical Informaticist, you will shape how clinical data is transformed and made usable for research by leading efforts in knowledge management, semantic normalization, and data quality. Your work will directly support high-impact research by ensuring that the right concepts are captured, standardized, and accessible across diverse data sources.
In this role, you will review, audit, and analyze outpatient clinical documentation from external provider partners, ensuring accurate and complete coding of risk-adjustable conditions. You will translate chart insights into feedback that improves documentation quality, supports proper reimbursement, and enables provider performance in risk-bearing arrangements, working alongside educators and managers.
