As a Staff Product Designer at Samsara, you will be an instrumental leader on the Product Design team who will develop strategic designs and ship products that our customers use every day to run their operations. This role will be focused on building a 0-1 product within the company, collaborating closely with various teams to understand the market, identify customer needs, and deliver value.

Take the lead on larger, horizontal, platform-type problems and projects that are 6+ months out, benefiting from design championing them and visualizing what the future could look like. Partner with other designers on high-priority, complex projects to help get things across the finish line, while pushing the boundaries on quality & craft.

Responsible for design ideation and delivery for one of the Nerdwallet app development pods, you will work closely with internal teams to evolve the Nerdwallet app, moving seamlessly between strategy and tactics to bring NerdWallet’s purpose to life.

Work in a small team to iteratively improve user experience. Take new features from ideation, to prototyping, to user testing, to production. Design web and mobile experiences that are simple and intuitive. Participate in regular design reviews where you’ll seek out specific feedback on your designs and incorporate relevant feedback.
