About this role:

  • GiveDirectly is at an inflection point, aiming for a step-change in scale requiring a new recruiting capability.
  • This role leads the global talent acquisition function, managing a team of managers and IC recruiters.
  • The focus is on building machinery: sourcing engine, workforce planning, hiring manager enablement, and data systems.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and coach the team to develop as true business partners with accountability and proactive ownership.
  • Own Greenhouse configuration, data quality, reporting, and AI tooling to improve speed and quality.
  • Build outbound sourcing capability from the ground up and maintain warm pipelines for critical roles.

What you’ll bring:

  • 7+ years of talent acquisition experience with at least 3 in leadership, including global recruiting across Sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Demonstrated experience scaling a TA function through hypergrowth and building sourcing capabilities.
  • Strong command of recruiting operations, ATS management, data/metrics, and process design.
