As a Lead Back-end Engineer, you’ll be an Individual Contributor within a dynamic, distributed team of six software engineers providing technical leadership and direction to shape the future of our product. Your focus will be on designing and building systems in critical areas such as data collection, account management, and permission management. By solving complex problems quickly and delivering impactful solutions, you’ll play a key role in advancing our mission.

You will play a critical role in developing our core Large Language Model (LLM) service; responsible for building, deploying, and optimizing LLM-powered solutions that directly impact our customer's ability to understand and process risk in commercial insurance.

Design and develop a new Quoting system to enable clients to quote their customers quickly and accurately and scalable frameworks and APIs that enable flexible, self-serve quoting across multiple product types. Abstract specific problems into generic building blocks that clients can use to build and modify their systems while working in a multi-disciplinary software engineering team, solving design challenges.
