This position is needed to manage the team of machine learning engineers of the Growth & User Intelligence team and closely partner with Product & Engineering teams to execute the roadmap for Twilio’s AI/ML products and services. You will understand customers' needs, build ML and Data Science products that work at a global scale and own end-to-end execution of large scale ML solutions.

Reporting to the SVP Software Engineering, you will guide the architecture vision for D2C platforms with a mobile-first and AI-native mindset and define roadmaps across mobile and web with emphasis on scalability. You will also lead technical design across consumer products and internal platforms and be a technical partner across product, data, cybersecurity, and platform teams.

Seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer who excels at collaboratively solving complex problems. You will collaborate closely with our Engineering Team, Product Managers, and Designers to develop innovative experiences for our internal stakeholders, primarily focusing on creating a custom lab software solution for a high-throughput laboratory. This is a remote position with regular travel to the San Carlos, California, or Austin, Texas offices.

This is a remote Python Developer role requiring a minimum of 3 years' experience in Python development. The role requires professional experience with AWS, Containers (e.g. Docker), Version Control (e.g. Git), SQL Databases (e.g. PostgreSQL). Good knowledge of English and Portuguese is also required and the candidate must already be living in Portugal.

You will implement web and mobile user experiences using React & React Native and build and maintain GraphQL APIs powered by Python services (Django, Flask).
