The Software Engineer II role is primarily devoted to designing and developing next generation software for the Nextech product suite. You will work within a team of talented, motivated individuals who are passionate about developing high quality software products that engage users and enable them to work efficiently. The ideal candidate is collaborative, curious, creative, versatile, organized, and is intrinsically motivated to continuously improve themselves and others around them.

Design, build, and maintain modern cloud-based applications across multiple business units. Involved in the full software development lifecycle—from technical design and architecture discussions to coding, debugging, and production support. Requires strong experience with Azure cloud services, .NET Core 6+, ASP.NET, SQL, and modern frontend frameworks including Angular and React. Collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams to analyze requirements, define scalable solutions, and deliver high-quality software following SDLC best practices.

As a Senior Fullstack Developer, you will lead the development of scalable software applications using .NET Core and Angular, while leveraging AWS to enhance functionality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. You will build, test, and maintain software applications using .NET Core and Angular, ensuring robust functionality and performance.

Collaborate cross-functionally with the Engineering, Product, Quality Assurance, and Support teams to implement end-to-end solutions for Turnitin’s next generation of academic integrity products. Contribute throughout the front-end stack, developing features and reusable components for performant, accessible JavaScript applications. Make contributions to both the short- and long-term development of our products and team processes.

We are looking for a Developer with fluency in PowerShell and Python, and strong skills in one of our core development areas — C# (backend), Angular (frontend), or automation platforms such as Kestra/Rewst. This mid-level role balances independent project work with collaboration alongside senior developers. Develop new features, enhancements, and automation solutions, while maintaining existing systems.

Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes. Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product to our users. Implement software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs.

Support the design, development, and enhancement of user-facing features within an enterprise Content Management System supporting a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. This role implements UI/UX updates, templates, components, and visual design elements while ensuring accessibility compliance, responsive behavior, and digital design consistency. Contributes to the modernization of digital experiences and improves usability.
