Hiring a Staff Backend Engineer for our Foundations team. This is a high-leverage technical role focused on scaling the reliability, performance, and architectural maturity of our systems. You’ll help shape how backend engineering is done at Alpha by not only by delivering critical systems, but also by mentoring others, codifying patterns, and raising the bar for technical ownership.

As a Backend Engineer (Ruby), you'll work on backend APIs, internal tools, and web/retail client applications. Collaborate with engineers and designers to enhance the e-commerce and retail experience for customers and internal staff. Work on integrations with Ace & Tate systems and third-party integrations, and engage in continuous testing, bug fixing, automation, and code reviews.
