Interns for the Fiscal Policy Center will assist the center’s director by conducting research and writing on a wide range of issues falling within the broad purview of fiscal and tax policy. Tasks could reach into the realm of municipal and state budgets, taxpayer-funded economic development incentives, government enterprises and fees, transportation, housing programs, healthcare, education, and more. Interns should be prepared to tackle complex assignments from a free market and limited government perspective.

Collaborate with the ISF team on research, design, and development of business models or financial structures focused on agriculture and food systems. Conduct market landscape analyses, feasibility assessment, and option prioritization for new food and agriculture finance opportunities with ISF clients; Support the design and development of new projects and business models focused on rural financial inclusion. Develop strategies on financial market interventions for donors and foundations in the food and agriculture sector.

JFF is seeking a Director, Research & Insights to lead and strengthen our enterprise-wide impact measurement systems and data infrastructure. The Director will support major initiatives including the American Job Quality Survey (AJQS) and North Star measurement, Program Impact Measurement (PIM), and the development of an AI–powered research repository that centralizes data and insights across JFF. The Director will also manage a team of researchers.
