As a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) for Shipping Platforms area, you work closely with product, engineering and other stakeholders to drive technical initiatives within organization. This role combines skills of an analyst, engineer, architect, and project/program manager. You participate in architectural design of solutions. You validate and recommend solutions and actively participate in building strategies. You will need technical experience to support business partners and projects.

As a member of the IT Portfolio Management Office (PMO) area, the IT Project Manager 2 will be part of a team responsible for delivering mission-critical projects and technologies in support of business objectives. This position offers the opportunity to work across varying levels of stakeholders within the infrastructure and application development disciplines on projects of varying scope and scale. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with senior IT leaders while leading complex IT projects that support and advance the way we do business.

The Product Manager leverages their technical knowledge to provide application support and implementation support of medium to highly complex projects. The Product Manager interacts with the customer user community to secure business requirements and develop test plans for new application functionality from an application/technical perspective. May lead Product Release management functions.

The project manager will be responsible for managing SAP projects and the project portfolio. The projects can run in SAP consulting or in SAP operations (then service management). They will plan, initiate and control the projects from start to finish, be responsible for achieving the project goals and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements. They will also manage service processes to ensure that the agreed service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
