We’re looking for a Backend Engineer to join one of our squads dedicated to building and enhancing the core systems that drive Swapcard’s capabilities. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions for event organizer; while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This role requires a key player to apply advanced software engineering skills to build technologies that support our drug discovery efforts. Key responsibilities include development of training data workflows for the training of machine-learning (ML) models and scalable deployment of machine-learning technologies, and creation, testing and maintenance of software systems.

This person will work with stakeholders like security, product management, QA, and customer support. They will have an opportunity to flex into a security mindset while bringing their software architecture and programming skills to build reliable, secure systems for our dbt cloud SaaS product. They will primarily be working on the Django monolith and a couple of Go micro-services.

Lead the design and architecture of backend services that power real-time model inference and bidding decisions for our OpenRTB platform. Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to deploy, monitor, and optimize ML models that influence real-time bidding strategies, pricing decisions, and targeting. Oversee the development of A/B testing frameworks and ensure the seamless integration of experimentation tools into our platform.

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, responsive front-end components and user interfaces for online gambling games. Work with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic and APIs. Collaborate with game designers to bring innovative game features to life, ensuring a seamless and engaging player experience. Optimize the front-end code for maximum performance and scalability across a variety of devices and browsers. Ensure that the front-end codebase is maintainable, modular, and reusable. Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues, ensuring high-quality, bug-free releases. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards for online gambling platforms.
