We’re hiring an Engineering Manager to lead and grow our commerce-focused engineering organization. Your core responsibility will be to scale, support, and structure our large, distributed engineering team. You’ll directly manage 50+ engineers and designers across North America and LATAM, and play a critical role in helping us grow to 100+ team members in the coming year. This role is not client-facing or delivery-focused, it’s a people-first leadership position at the intersection of engineering operations, recruiting, and org scaling.

Engineering Manager for Consumer Comms will lead a team responsible for building and maintaining critical systems that power our customer communications, overseeing the development and optimization of data pipelines to Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), ensuring system stability and scalability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on the modernization of our communications platform.

Help grow and support our engineering team. You’ll maintain and expand the culture of not just the engineering team, but the company in general. You will directly manage and support a team of engineers, enabling them to do their best work. All our managers stay hands-on with the product, collaborating closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience to build a seamless user journey.

Lead a team of engineers and guide the team in making good technical and prioritization decisions. This role requires empathy for immediate internal customer needs, a visionary approach to developer productivity, and the ability to work with geographically distributed engineers and Stripe leaders to design and lead developer productivity best practices.
