The Senior Staff Engineer will be part of the Payments team and will be responsible for building new payments and money movement capabilities across US and International, and (re)architecting our payments platform to scale for the future. You’ll be guiding projects end-to-end by influencing initial feature specs, executing on projects, and maintaining code that powers core experiences.

You will unlock new ideas and solutions for our products, solving problems in CardFlight’s backend systems responsible for transaction processing and settlement and supporting code certifications for our payment processor integrations. You will collaborate with a team of talented engineers to continuously build, ship, learn, and iterate on our products, implement backend code changes and bug fixes to support code certifications of new and existing functionality.
Design and build high-performance, data-intensive microservices that drive real-time bidding and user acquisition outcomes for mobile apps. You will scale systems and architect and maintain event-driven data pipelines that process billions of mobile signals daily. You will also optimize user acquisition and collaborate with data scientists and product teams to integrate ML models and sophisticated targeting logic into the bidding process.
Architect and develop highly scalable web applications, working closely with designers and engineers to design, build, and ship new features from scratch. Evaluate and improve the performance, durability, and security of applications in production. Take ownership for your tasks and see features through from start to finish, building RESTful APIs.
Build new backend and frontend features across our applications and API. Collaborate closely with product and design to create implementation plans. Improve the testability and monitoring of our applications. Contribute to the improvement of our applications and addressing tech debt. As a Senior Software Engineer at Wrapbook, you will play a hands-on role in driving our mission to build an outstanding technology company. Working as part of a cross-functional team, you will drive core features from start to finish, collaborating with other developers, designers, and product managers to provide elegant solutions to Wrapbook customer problems.
The Loan Origination team builds Caribou's refinance platform, supporting both human-assisted and fully digital refinance from application through title transfer. They work in Ruby on Rails with the additional responsibility of overall stewardship of our rails monolith for all engineering.
