You will be at the heart of designing and building the robust, scalable, and intelligent systems that power Aiwyn's platform. You'll tackle thorny problems in computational expression generation, data modeling, and the core logic that translates complex tax code into executable software. We're looking for engineers who are product-minded and can think creatively to solve core and immediate problems.

You will play a crucial role in developing and refining the Apps SDK, ensuring that external apps can integrate natively into Canva’s product ecosystem. You will be responsible for architecting new capabilities, shaping API designs, and collaborating with both internal teams and external developers to build a world-class app experience. As a technical leader, you’ll drive large-scale projects from ideation to execution, making key architectural decisions that impact Canva’s developer community.

Collaborate in the definition of concepts such as project-wide coding style guides. Build quick prototypes to prove concepts. Enforce quality during code review and maintenance practices. Debug performance issues in apps and bottlenecks in CI lanes. Integrate with third party APIs. Efficiently scale components through tuning and / or major refactorings. Conceptualize and develop components for a monorepo mobile app.

Shape the future of Canva as a Staff Frontend Engineer on the Apps API Platform team. Drive the development and refinement of the Apps SDK, ensuring the seamless integration of external apps into Canva’s ecosystem. Architect new capabilities, collaborate with internal and external developers, and provide technical leadership to mentor other engineers.

Integrate AI assistant features across the Camunda user experience, enabling users to create, investigate, and customize their process orchestration journey, as well as take part in designing AI platform initiatives and shaping Camunda's BYOM initiative, allowing customers to configure their own AI providers for copilot initiatives. This position requires curiosity and passion for AI, with ownership of the codebase and comfort with the "you build it, you run it" mindset.

Contribute to the ScanRewards Android development as part of the team. Track ticket progression with JIRA and support UX/UI and QA requests. Proactive communication with the team. They develop B2C applications used daily by several million users, with major challenges around performance, scalability, and user experience. The team works fully remotely, with clear rituals and an organization designed to support asynchronous collaboration.

This role is focused on coding in Golang to design, build and deploy products that run across multiple Kubernetes clusters. You will be on-call for the team’s products and driving operational excellence.
