The Head of Clinical Integration & Quality is the engine behind clinical quality at scale. You’ll lead the development and execution of knownwell’s clinical quality infrastructure—defining clinician competency standards, evaluation frameworks, and training programs that ensure every clinician is equipped to deliver gold-standard metabolic and primary care. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone who thrives at the intersection of clinical excellence, operational execution, and scalable systems.
As a Physician at knownwell, work alongside a team of committed physicians, APC’s, registered dietitians, registered nurses, registered pharmacist clinicians, and health coaches to provide comprehensive medical care, with a specific focus on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of obesity and obesity related conditions in a primary care setting. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of patients by helping them improve their overall health.
In this role, you’ll support patients and clinicians across the country by managing virtual patient check-ins, handling inbox messages, and ensuring seamless care coordination in a fully remote environment. Responsibilities include conducting remote patient check-ins, documenting medical information accurately in the EMR, communicating with patients, and supporting clinicians during virtual visits. This role requires 2+ years of experience in virtual care and familiarity with EMR platforms.
Own P&L and KPIs for all clinics, including visit volume, clinician productivity, NPS, EBITDA, and unit economics. Develop and socialize a standardized operating model, SOPs, and dashboards to ensure consistent performance across markets. Establish weekly, monthly, and quarterly operating rhythms that drive accountability and continuous improvement.
Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical positions, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation. Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, and networking events, to build a strong candidate pipeline. Partner with SVP, Clinical Operationsand other key stakeholders to understand hiring needs, job specifications, and create effective recruitment strategies.
