You will conceptualize and validate high-potential use cases in untapped markets and work closely across several teams at Runway. Research and identify high potential verticals and customer segments where our technology can solve significant problems and unlock new possibilities.
We’re looking for a strategic, high-impact Director of Sales Development to build and scale our global Sales Development function. You’ll architect the playbook, build the team, drive pipeline generation, and work closely with marketing, sales, RevOps, and enablement to align strategy with execution. This is a foundational leadership role responsible for delivering a repeatable, performance-driven pipeline engine.

The candidate must be able to coach business development representatives, deliver process improvements, and collaborate with sales and marketing teams.
As Runway’s first Business Development Representative, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, driving outbound activities and managing inbound to build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities. You’ll work closely with our Head of Sales, Account Executives, marketing, and CX to refine and execute a strategy. This role is foundational in shaping how Runway builds its pipeline.
