The Sr. WAN Administrator will oversee WAN network implementation, organization, and troubleshooting, oversee work of technical support staff in managing network hubs, routers, switches and servers, and monitor underlying communications protocols and supporting network hardware. They will also monitor and identify potential chronic issues and coordinate projects with LAN Team when needed.

Maintain the backbone of Recursion's technological infrastructure, ensuring seamless reliability, optimal performance, and robust security of our complex network spanning both on-premises data centers and multi-cloud environments (GCP/AWS). Tackle daily operational challenges, resolving complex issues, and driving the continuous enhancement of our network services that directly support our innovative mission.

Design the IP infrastructure of our multi-site data centers and the GRX/IPX interconnectivity and global PoP structure to access mobile partner networks. Define the WAN network strategy and lead the data centre LAN and WAN networks, specifically the configuration of DRAs, GTPs, GGSN/PGW, SBC, FW, Routers. Integrate direct roaming agreements and sponsored roaming agreements. Be a primary interface between teams and partners for network optimization.
