Kit is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to scale financial and business operations, translate vision into execution, mature operating systems, and ensure data-driven decisions to fuel sustainable growth, reporting to the CEO as a member of the executive team and working as a strategist, coach, and player to help build a workplace where both people and business thrive.

In this remote role, you'll lead ingredient management, research, and strategic initiatives, focusing on data-driven solutions to optimize ingredients. Key responsibilities include ingredient and menu data research, managing the ingredient optimization process, and collaborating with culinary and supply management teams.

This role involves building a safety ops machine, maturing and overseeing safety operations, managing customer requests and safety incidents, and supporting the development of automated safety systems. You will craft clear guidelines and build processes with an automation-first mindset, staying ahead of developments in trust and safety and AI safety.

This position will lead workforce management, capacity planning, and forecasting; support the development and administration of existing and new CS tools to improve customer experience and operational efficiency; and create and own the operational mechanisms to align CS resourcing to support company programs and scale.

As the Overnight Operations Manager, you’ll be a key leader in Monzo’s Personal Banking operation, ensuring that our customers get the support they need—no matter the time of day. Our evening and night teams play a crucial role in keeping Monzo running, and you’ll be at the helm, guiding your managers and their teams to success.
