The Elevators Inspections unit ensures the operational safety, reliable service, and lawful use of vertical transportation devices throughout New York City. The Director will be responsible for managing inspection and clerical staff to ensure safety compliance for vertical transportation devices. Key tasks include overseeing Unit operations, improving operational systems, managing projects, reviewing performance data, and providing recommendations for improving day-to-day operations.
