As a Senior Software Engineer you will join the Platform team to focus on building features in the backend using Python, Airflow, Motherduck, Postgres, Snowflake and AWS. This role involves ingesting data from ERP systems and providing a common data layer to enable existing ERP workflows. You will provide support to our front-end team by building scalable services and ensuring data accuracy using cloud services.

You will be one of five developers and maintainers of k6 , a modern open-source tool for performance testing, written in Go. Your responsibilities will be to both write code, extend the functionality of k6, maintain the code base, interface with the user community (i.e. review patches) and potentially evangelize the tool. Your main, long-term goal will be to create the best possible tool and to get as many people as possible to use it.

Implements application design by utilizing development languages and tools. Develops and executes test plans (unit testing) for assigned projects. Ensures the code is scalable and meets performance requirements for assigned projects through performance tuning. Delivers quality code on time that meets requirements and specifications. Writes and maintains documentation on any technical development completed.
