Pair Team

As Director of Strategic Operations, you will drive the development and execution of high-impact initiatives that expand care access and improve outcomes for underserved populations. In this highly cross-functional role, you’ll lead mission-critical projects from concept through launch—shaping company strategy while rolling up your sleeves to deliver results. Your work will directly influence how Pair Team scales its model and serves its most complex patients.

This position is for a full-time Lead Care Manager to play a critical role in Pair Team's whole-person, interdisciplinary care model, responsible for directly outreaching and engaging with individuals living with Serious Mental Illness/ Substance Use Disorder, experiencing homelessness, and/or those who have high medical needs. The position primarily allows for remote work; however, it includes 1-2 times a month on-site visits in the community.

Rapidly prototype, test, and ship AI-powered features that solve real problems for patients and care teams. Optimize for speed-to-learning—working in tight loops to validate assumptions and improve outcomes. Apply modern AI patterns (LLMs, embeddings, RAG, agents, fine-tuning, etc.) in creative, practical ways. Collaborate closely with product, engineering, operations, and clinical stakeholders to align AI efforts with user needs.

Own the frontend experience for high-impact features used by patients, care teams, and clinical partners across the country. Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to bring complex workflows to life with clarity and craft. Lead frontend architecture and help evolve our design system, component libraries, and developer tooling. Stay plugged into modern frontend trends.

Play a critical role in Pair Team's whole-person, interdisciplinary care model by providing mental health resources and therapeutic interventions for individuals living with Serious Mental Illness, Substance Use Disorder, experiencing homelessness, and/or those who have high medical needs. The Behavioral Health Care Manager will work in a team-based model.
