This role is responsible for the Accounts Receivable function for the business unit including invoicing clients, monitoring and processing incoming payments and all aspects of collection. Informing clients of outstanding balances through statements, emails and/or calls and following up outstanding payments.

The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vendor payments, working closely with both the Property Accounting and Property Management departments. Responsibilities include reviewing invoices, printing and distributing checks, scanning check batches, resolving invoice exceptions within the AVID system, and assisting with 1099 processing.

Provide month end close support, balance sheet reconciliation, and process improvement in line with TerrAscend’s standard operating procedures. Assists the BU Controller in driving the Month-End Close process for multiple entities and participates in daily accounting department tasks. Prepares and/or reviews appropriate journal entries and accruals, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all assigned accounts, databases, and files.

Lead the accounting design and implementation of GoFundMe’s internal ledger system for global revenue and fund flows. Translate accounting policy (ASC 606) into system-integrated logic in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Data teams.
