Mattermost

You will drive the reliability, quality, and efficiency of our software release processes, working closely with development, QA, operations, and security teams. You will design, implement, and maintain robust release pipelines for our on-premise and SaaS offerings. You will ensure that software changes are built, tested, packaged, and delivered to customers with high confidence and minimal friction.

As a Software Engineer II, you'll work at the intersection of technology and user needs, delivering features that solve real-world problems, particularly in domains where precision, security, and collaboration are paramount. This is more than a coding role—it’s a product engineering role focused on building products with a direct impact on critical workflows.

The Technical Account Manager will be the primary technical lead and trusted advisor for a portfolio of strategic customers in defense, intelligence, security, and critical infrastructure, accelerating each customer’s implementation, integration, and expansion of Mattermost so it becomes the secure, scalable collaboration hub for their mission-critical work, designing and guiding deployments, delivering our structured Onboarding Journey, and helping customers achieve measurable outcomes.

Mattermost is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help design, operate, and improve the infrastructure powering our secure, mission-critical collaboration platform. As part of our globally distributed Engineering team, you will focus on reliability, scalability, performance, and automation across cloud and hybrid environments. You will play a key role in ensuring our systems are observable, resilient, and efficient.

As the Lead Site Reliability Engineer, you will guide the architecture, reliability, and operational excellence of the infrastructure powering our secure, mission-critical collaboration platform. You will provide technical leadership across our SRE function, driving strategic initiatives for scalability, observability, performance, and automation across cloud and hybrid environments. You will mentor engineers, establish best practices, and collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams.
