As a member of PointClickCare’s Legal and Compliance team, you will work on critical initiatives and projects that significantly impact PointClickCare, its customers, and other stakeholders. Reporting to PointClickCare’s Privacy Officer, you will identify, analyze, and distill ever-changing information-privacy requirements applicable to PointClickCare’s various operations throughout the United States and Canada in order to assess, modify, and carry out PointClickCare’s privacy policies, procedures, and training.

The Global Director, Ethics & Compliance position will oversee the Company’s Ethics & Compliance program, including updating and advising senior leadership on Ethics & Compliance issues. The role includes managing 1-2 direct reports and strategic development of the Ethics & Compliance program to meet future Company needs. This individual will work with the Assistant General Counsel to oversee all aspects of H.B. Fuller’s Ethics & Compliance program.

This role will collaborate closely with Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) stakeholders to identify and clearly document requirements. You will proactively uncover and articulate opportunities to enhance models, leveraging advanced AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), and develop compelling business cases. You will also serve as a critical bridge between Compliance and Engineering, translating regulatory and business needs into actionable technical requirements.

Leverage blockchain analytics and financial crime expertise to conduct in depth investigations and analysis in support of Coinbase’s BSA/AML program. Conduct reviews of higher risk cases referred by partner teams, which may involve high volume transaction activity, potential fraud or money laundering rings, terror financing or human trafficking concerns, politically exposed persons (PEPs), high-profile individuals, etc.

Collaborate with legal, marketing, finance, and other departments. Perform KYC checks for new and existing customers, including identity verification, risk assessment, and PEP/sanctions screening. Conduct onboarding of legal entities to financial institutions. Review and assess documentation for individual and business clients in line with AML regulations and internal policies. Stay updated on AML laws, regulatory changes, and industry best practices. Assist with internal and external regulatory requests.

The Associate General Counsel will support the Deputy General Counsel in leading key functions in the Legal team, with specific focus on further refinement of privacy and product counseling workflows. The Associate General Counsel will be a hands-on leader with significant management experience, who will help to oversee and develop a talented legal team. The Associate General Counsel will also work closely with leadership, executive teams, and with external stakeholders.
