Deeply understand the needs and workflows of consumers of Canva’s infrastructure platform. Write tools, services, configuration, and whatever else is required to ensure that our infrastructure platform can be both utilized and iterated on safely and quickly. Consult with internal users and other platform teams to bring clarity and alignment.

Contribute to cutting-edge software solutions supporting environmental and earth science research. Develop, design, and maintain tools for processing large-scale earth science data. Implement innovative features and enhance software architecture.

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions using Java, Spring Web, and Spring Boot.
• Conduct code reviews and guide the team on code quality, architecture, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and maintain legacy components when needed.

• Development and maintenance of projects in Golang using AWS services.
• Participation in technical analysis with product team requirements.
• Database optimization, mainly DynamoDB.

• Build and maintain robust APIs, enabling personalized meal plans and fitness tracking.
• Collaborate on designing reliable, maintainable, and scalable systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Develop and refine features to support client success and platform growth.
