Reporting directly to the CFO, the Chief of Staff will act as a strategic partner and advisor, accountable for handling objectives and initiatives across Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Corporate Development, Legal, Strategic Finance, Enterprise IT, and Operations. This role drives strategic initiatives, ensures operational efficiency, and supports fundraising.

Work closely with M-KOPA's senior management team and other cross-functional teams to support ongoing ad-hoc strategy projects as a strategy intern. You will be in a full-time, 10 week internship rolling up to our Chief Product Officer. Based in Nairobi, your work will be global in scope, covering all markets of operations.

The Strategy & Operations Associate will support key business initiatives, helping to improve cross-functional operations and ensure the seamless execution of strategic projects across the region. This role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to drive business objectives.

The Business Operations and Strategy team drives strategic and cross-functional initiatives across the company, focusing on product-led business units to execute product, business model, go-to-market, and operational strategies. This role supports strategy development, applies data-driven analytics, and builds business models. Responsibilities include market analysis, financial model building, and identifying revenue opportunities.
