  • You will manage a multimillion dollar portfolio while maintaining a Net Revenue Retention (NRR) rate above target through strategic price increases and seat expansion.
  • You will drive active usage across your districts by delivering high-impact training and implementation strategies and creating compelling support materials, such as tutorials and one-pagers, that ensure implementation is scalable and our tools become essential to daily teacher workflows.
  • You will build deep trust with district executive leadership, managing accounts with individual ARR values of six-figures or more through data-driven storytelling and consultative selling.

  • Responsible for building relationships with key decision makers at the district level and selling Newsela’s suite of products.
  • Employ solution-based selling techniques and solution mapping, along with strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Create and maintain an aggressive pipeline, and build and adjust strategic account plans for key accounts.

  • Own the assigned territory and individual account plan coordination.
  • Influence and motivate others in a matrixed sales organization to support and drive towards shared goals.
  • Manage the overall health of the account; coordinating routine checkpoints, handling business reviews, participating in new product roadmap discussions, and engaging in client meetings.

  • Develop open and effective channels of communication with each named account.
