As an Accounts Payable Manager at RemoFirst, you’ll be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and reviewing payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions, establishing relationships with a variety of decision-makers within our ecosystem, while preparing and maintaining accurate records and financial reports related to budgets, expenses, payroll transactions, etc.

The Payroll Analyst will be key in managing internal payroll processes, collaborating with external providers for timely payroll requirements, and coordinating with benefits providers for accurate reporting and enrollment, ultimately contributing to Thumbtack's ongoing success. An ideal candidate will have experience handling payroll, knowledge of HRMS and Payroll systems and strong customer service skills.

Experience with ADP Workforce Now is required for this Payroll Specialist role. The specialist will process biweekly or semi-monthly payroll for hourly, non-exempt and exempt employees, contractors and practice owners in accordance with government regulations. They will also enter/audit employee payroll changes and follow all processing procedures in accordance with payroll SOPs.

As a Bilingual Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in processing the payroll of employees across Canada. Working in both English and French, you will be responsible for a wide range of payroll-related tasks, from data entry and calculations to liaising with external partners and responding to internal requests.
