The Director of Technical Writing at GitLab leads the technical documentation function, setting strategic goals and ensuring the delivery of clear, accurate, and user-focused documentation. You’ll drive impact with the millions of worldwide GitLab docs users, enabling product learnability, efficient configuration, ease of use, and troubleshooting. This role reports to the VP of UX and manages a globally distributed team of technical writers, technical writing managers, and engineers.

Plays a crucial role in driving innovative projects to success, working directly with the CTO, supporting all IT-related matters, including IT Governance, transformational programs for Engineering, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive toward ambitious goals. Involves close interaction with engineering leaders to follow their initiatives, ensuring timely and budget-conscious execution. Will leverage consulting expertise to guide digital transformation initiatives.

The Principal Technical Consultant, Integrations Specialist is the functional and technical expert of a customer engagement team – consulting with customers and configuring ServiceNow Integrations based on configuration best practices. Integrations consultants design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and third-party software platforms, programs, and applications. They are expert problem solvers with extensive programming skills and abilities in multiple coding languages and frameworks.
