This key hire will fulfill a dual capacity position: (i) as the statutory Data Protection Officer (DPO) ensuring legal compliance and independence per GDPR and related laws, and (ii) as the Lead Privacy Counsel serving as the legal subject matter expert for privacy advice and governance within the Legal team. You will advise the organization on Company obligations under GDPR and maintain a record of processing operations.

This position addresses litigation and will assist in ensuring better litigation outcomes, keeping abreast of litigation tactics and techniques, assisting in trial preparation including jury selection, case theme, and effective presentation in the courtroom. The position will also work with both Staff Legal and the Strategic Counsel and Litigation Management Group, Panel Counsel.

The Director of Government Affairs will be a highly organized, detail-oriented strategist with a proven track record in developing strategic networks and overseeing multiple policy campaigns with a results-driven approach. You will lead a team designed to engage key stakeholders, policymakers and advance our mission through impactful advocacy efforts. You will serve as a key advisor, providing strategic guidance on all matters related to government affairs.

Help manage and optimize our core legal administrative tasks and projects. You will be a central hub for the team, supporting everything from contract management and corporate governance to our daily ops, while also helping to drive our legal operational vision that includes blazing the trail of digital asset finance.
