Support the Chief Accountant in tax declarations, monthly and annual closings. Handle salary and expense report calculations. Manage intra-group transactions, including invoicing and reconciliations. Compile reports for Statistics Estonia and Bank of Estonia. Participate in audits. Process purchase and sales transactions in financial systems. Contribute to planning and improving financial systems and processes. Prepare ad hoc financial reports as needed.

As Nav’s Controller, you’ll play a pivotal role in owning the close and financial reporting processes, ensuring we maintain the highest level of accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This role is critical to Nav’s next chapter as we scale, explore strategic transactions, and continue building financial products that empower small businesses. You’ll manage day-to-day accounting operations, lead our annual financial audit, and work closely with teams.

Process purchase invoices, employee cost- and travel reports, and input them into financial systems. Control and archive accounting documents. Prepare payment orders in the banking and accounting system. Insert payments received and bank transactions in accounting program. Answer daily accounting-related queries, process purchase and sales transactions and compile ad hoc reports.

The candidate will reconcile player transaction data related to FIFA’s solidarity mechanism across multiple years to ensure correct presentation. Reconciliation will require financial statements to be reviewed alongside supporting documents, including transfer and loan agreements. They will review player transactions related to FIFA’s solidarity mechanism, including the FIFA Clearing House and compare solidarity mechanism transactions between clubs’ rosters, agreements, invoices, and other supporting documentation.

Take the lead on the month-end close process for order-to-cash, ensuring everything lines up with ASC 606 and internal policies, review contracts, approve billing and revenue schedules, and handle journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis, manage revenue reporting and help tie it back to key business metrics like ARR, someone who deeply understands ASC 606 and ASC 340-40, tackle tricky revenue questions, and provide insights that help drive smart business decisions.
