Prepared is seeking a mission-driven, high-agency Counsel to take ownership of legal operations, support commercial growth, and help reduce legal risk across labor, compliance, data privacy, and contracting. This is a rare opportunity to transition into a high-impact, in-house role at a fast-scaling AI startup.

The Director, Counsel Privacy and Regulatory will be responsible for leading the team’s legal commercial matters (outside of commercial contracts and employment law). These include leading the acquisitions and integrations, product licensing and launch, intellectual property portfolio management, non-employment litigation, procurement legal support, data privacy laws and regulations compliance. This position will also be responsible for supporting U.S. government and State and Local Education compliance.

Implement compliance framework across North American operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory and client requirements and driving operational excellence across all North American Serverfarm sites. Requires expertise in regulatory compliance across a series of standards including; SOC, PCI, HiPPA, ISO 9001/14001/27001/50001 and others. Develop and maintain a robust compliance program that supports business growth whilst mitigating risks.
