As one of the first two hires in Australia, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Whatnot's regional presence, working alongside the GM, Australia. Launch and own a category in Australia, strategize the best ways to scale your efforts to make our first category successful, and partner with GM, Australia on determining which category to launch next. Build relationships with influencers, planning and executing activations to bring their audiences onto Whatnot.

Lead and scale our sales-led B2B growth initiatives by developing and executing demand generation strategies that align with our go-to-market strategy. You will ensure marketing programs engage and convert mid-market to enterprise prospects through highly targeted, multi-channel campaigns. Optimize the marketing funnel to drive conversions, build out and scale Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies, while leading and mentoring a high-performing demand generation team.

This is a full time remote role based in the United States. As VP External Affairs you will amplify Change.org's relationships with key conservative thought leaders, advocacy groups, political decision makers, industry associations, and nonprofit organizations. Responsibilities include developing and executing an external communications strategy, strategic partnerships, and advising senior leadership.

Reporting to the VP, Marketing & Business Development, you'll be responsible for the development, implementation and management of the business development strategies for OTIP and Orbits group business. Lead fundraising across the full emergency lifecycle, from securing pre-positioned funds to activating donor outreach in the first 24–48 hours after a crisis, to managing reporting and renewals. Own and support fundraising for the global crisis response efforts from governments, philanthropic foundations and corporations as well as individual high net worth funders. Develop and maintain a pipeline of funding opportunities.
